As readers may already know, on January 1, 2019 Sevigny Westdal LLP became Sevigny Dupuis LLP. As with its predecessor, Sevigny Dupuis LLP specializes in providing legal services in the areas of labour and employment law to both employer and employee clients.
This change has certainly been exciting, especially for me, having become a partner in the firm. What is perhaps equally exciting, is our new office space.
We previously had a very typical downtown office on O’Connor Street and all our staff made the dreaded daily commute downtown. We fought the Elgin Street construction, O’Connor Street construction, Light Rail construction, snow-day traffic, rainy day traffic and sunny day traffic, all for what? To be within walking distance to Starbucks and the courthouse?
Our new office space is in the south end of the city, on Hunt Club Road and while we may not be able to walk to Starbucks anymore, let me tell you, just like 40 is the new 30, the south end is the new downtown. We have unlimited free parking, a brand new and significantly larger office space (see for yourself: http://westviewprojects.com/portfolio-item/228-hunt-club-road/), great new IT infrastructure and a pretty unique view!
We are very grateful to the folks at Westview Projects for their impressive work on the space. Sevigny Dupuis LLP is now home, in the south end, and we look forward to welcoming you to our new space.
